Rated 1 out of 5 by MainIroner from Brown stains after 10days and 3 sessions only Purchased recently with high expectations because my existing azur elite keep having build-up white calc on sole plate that’s so irritating. Never did I expect to face the same problem with a latest product at such a short span of time. According to the manual, The EASY DE-CALC light flashes and the appliance beeps continuously after about a month or 10 ironing sessions to indicate that the appliance needs to be descaled. However it has only been 10 days after purchase and used it for 3 sessions. It produces brown stains from the sole plate during the 3rd session. The EASY DE-CALC light doesn’t flash and the appliance doesn’t beep. This is interesting!

I also love that the iron is smart that it automatically stops the heat when it senses that you've left it on the shirt for too long - I get distracted sometimes when I'm ironing & this is perfect in that it won't burn the shirt! The steam is strong so it takes a short time to iron out any crumpled areas which is great and time saving - I mean who likes ironing right? The only downside is that the entire iron unit is pretty heavy and there are no handles to carry it around, so I suppose you'll have to have a designated ironing area at home. This also means that your ironing board will need to be sturdy enough to take the weight of the entire unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bonehead1 from Nearly perfect [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing the steam generator when it first arrived was a pleasure. The item was well packaged and snug within the box. A lot of cardboard protecting the premium product. The manual is laid out and easy to reference with simple and straight forward instructions. This being my first steam generator, I read the manual through (took less than 5 minutes). I have a "normal" sized ironing board measuring 110x30cm. My first worry was: "Where do I place this generator? It definitely cannot sit on my board." As it turns out, leaving it on the floor works well. The cord is definitely long enough to iron with comfortably. I usually let my ironing pile up, so with my previous philips iron (see pic), it takes about 4 hours each fortnight to complete a pile. The ironing experience is truly almost effortless. The iron is light but with the amount of steam (I just leave everything on auto) generated the creases just melts away. No need to press down on the clothes with the iron. And it is so smooth and just glides across effortlessly. Ironing pile done in about just over 2 hrs. Significant saving of time. I also like that there is no need to stand the iron up between adjustments of the clothes. Just put it down flat and with the active sense present, it doesn't burn or activate. You can tell as the machine makes a hissing sound when the steamer is active while ironing. Also works well for those clothes that just requires a steam while being hung up. The creases melts away again. The large reservoir of 1.8L meant that I only required a single refill for my large load. My main gripe is the amount of condensation that occurs. The steam condenses on the metal legs and bars of the ironing board and I have to put a rug underneath the ironing board. At first I thought the felt layer had worn out and not absorbent but after replacing that, I came to realize that it was direct condensation on the cold metal bars under the iron. The cords and wires are meant to be neatly tucked on the bottom edge of the generator, but I find that a bit on the fiddly side. I still don't like to iron, but this definitely makes it so much more tolerable. Pros: Lightweight and smooth Active sensor works well Generates a lot of steam power. Half the time needed compared to previous iron. Cons: So much steam that water drips from the underside of the metal bars of the ironing board (condensation) Wires/Cable a bit fiddly to tuck away on the generator itself

With the PerfectCare 9000 Steam Generator Iron, it revolutionises the experience to a greater level with its built-in camera and Artificial Intelligence technology. The smooth gliding soleplate makes the ironing effortless as it simultaneously detects the right temperature settings for all garments. I have used it on silky fabrics, clothes adorned with embellishments and embroideries, denim, cotton, puffy laces; the iron does the job immaculately. Now I can have smart crisp clothes in every possible ways!

She now swears by it after the Perfect Care 9000 series cut her ironing time (and frustration) by >30%. Love the no burn technology which makes this worthy investment to cater to the family's array of clothes! Now, even my 10yo son can do his own ironing!

The iron is lightweight and with a large 1.8L detachable watertank, I don't need to keep refilling as it allows a continuous use of up to 2 hours. Love the automatic adjusts settings, it is so convenient. I don't need to think what fabric am I ironing and turn to the correct setting to ensure efficient ironing. Clothes are straightened and crease is removed effortlessly using this iron. It's really different from the others that I have used before. I can leave the iron unattended on the ironing board face down without worrying it will burn. It will also automatically shut off if it is left unattended for a few mins. It has very powerful steam as well. This saves me lots of time, usually I take 5 mins to iron one shirt, now I just need 3 mins. The steam is so fine & dries quickly! Some other iron steam will cause the clothes to be slightly damp. It's worth to invest in one good iron!

I had also heard positive feedback from my family members who use it. I finally took the plunge and ordered it on Lazada. I have to say, I was definitely not disappointed. The iron was extremely smooth and easy to use. The steam released at just the right amount and helped make my ironing a lot easier - very fuss-free. Although it arrived in a HUGE box, after unpacking, every component was functional and easy to put together. I especially liked the removable water container and the no burn feature. The iron itself was lightweight and easy for me to manage. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to invest in a high-quality appliance. I've always been a Philips fangirl, and this iron definitively did not disappoint. The cost is well worth the benefits and it is something that I am happy and proud to have as an addition to my home.
